First Dance; Bride and Groom
As it was likely meant to be at weddings between bride and groom, and knowing them there had been no alternative even if it wasn't normally the case, Sarah and Peter hadn't been further than arms-length apart the entire time, which was why one of her hands was there the moment he held his out. After a brief few beats to situate her dress, she drew close to him, moving into the dance without hesitation.
There was a certain pageantry involved in moments like this, all eyes on one couple, but it wasn't affected or forced for them. Much like many things they did together, their dancing was in-time and effortless, not female follows male lead so much as it was them dancing together as one. It wasn't just about knowing the right steps, it was about body language and Sarah's body language said clearly that there had never been a woman more in love with a man than she was with her husband.
