The last three weeks had, at times, gone too fast, and at other times, gone too slow, as usually in the moment it seemed slow and then past those moments, it seemed to have moved so fast. So too did the ceremony lay itself out, as for Sarah Williams as it passed slowly in moving toward the end goal, and then Sarah Petrelli looked back upon it and wondered how it had been done so quickly. But it wasn't the end of the day by a long shot and the busiest part was now to come, seeing and thanking each person for coming, doing it now as a married couple at the end of the bridal party line.
Once they had greeted all their guests in the receiving line and sent them on their way to the Lux to enjoy refreshments and each other's company, the period of time while the bridal party and related individuals remained on the Observatory grounds for pictures, Sarah grabbed her husband's hand and drew him away from the chattering group. The fabric 'wall' with its drawn-back panels that she had walked through earlier was the best choice for a modicum of privacy and so it was to there she pulled him, without explaining why, and tugged the ties free to once more make a barrier between the two sides.
As the fabric settled, she turned back to Peter and grinned. "Hello, husband."
