Who: Lana Lang; [OPEN to anyone but the usual. Lana needs to meet more people.] What: Christmas shopping! Where: Shops and streets. When: Mid-morning, Black Friday. Rating: TBD.
She should have started shopping months ago, but not only was this place unpredictable, she'd also been trying to block all thoughts of Christmas from her mind. There was no doing that now. May as well make the best of it and try to deal with it. One of those was buying gifts for the few people here who mattered to her, including Bart. He was quiet now, as could be expected, but by the time December 25 rolled around, they would be laughing about some ridiculous thing he'd decided to do with the wrapping paper left over from the holiday.
But now she was thinking maybe she should have waited a few days before attempting to venture out. Or maybe skip going out and shop online.
People were everywhere and they never seemed to watch where they were going or who they almost knocked over, or in this case, did knock over. Lana had caught herself just before her face had hit the sidewalk and now she was frantically trying to put her things back in their respective bags so they wouldn't get trampled. Of course, this was hard, considering she felt like she was about to get trampled herself.
