Who: Lebia, a NPC vampire, and OPEN to whoever wants to save her
When: February 4, after 6:00PM
What: Lebia decides to wander outside to help anyone in danger, but gets attacked herself.
Where: A random street
In hindsight, leaving the safe internet café she was in wasn’t the smartest thing she’d ever done. But after checking the message board and seeing the panic, Lebia wanted to make sure people were safe. While she didn’t know about vampires and the like, she was used to bad things coming out in the dark. And she was curious to know if the Entities had somehow followed her and caused this mess.
But what Entity was powerful enough to do this? While Category 1s were powerful, she didn’t think they could blot out a sun. Even still, she wished she had her blaster with her or something to protect herself in case it was a Lucifer Hawk. Not that it would have been much help against a Category 1, but if there were any lower level ones, it’d take them out. And she would have felt a lot safer out here in the dark.
That was when, in the darkness, she stumbled across a person attacking another. Except the one attacking looked… inhuman. His forehead was knotted and from this distance she couldn’t be sure, but he looked like he had fangs. “What the…?” she breathed in surprise, before going into officer mode. She might not have her equipment or be in her AMP uniform, but she had sworn an oath to defend innocents. And the person being attacked definitely seemed innocent.
“Leave him alone!” she shouted at the… whatever it was. She didn’t think it was a Lucifer Hawk, but some Category 2s had taken a human form once or twice. The creature looked up from its current prey and Lebia realized this wasn’t the best idea. She didn’t have a weapon of any kind. Looking around, she tried to find a makeshift weapon, but couldn’t see anything.
But at least it had left the innocent alone. And fortunately said innocent had enough sense to take the chance to run away, leaving Lebia alone with the creature. The creature noticed and snarled at her, “You made me lose my meal! I guess I’ll just have to have you instead!”
“That’s not going to happen,” she said, sounding braver than she really felt. Kiddy was the fighter, not her. She just hoped she remembered what little hand-to-hand combat she had been taught.
The creature grinned, revealing that he did, in fact, have fangs and moved almost impossibly fast over to her. He grabbed her throat, slamming her back into the wall of a building, resulting in a sharp gasp of pain from Lebia. With her attempts to fight him off proving fruitless, she finally gave in to her last resort and screamed as loud as she could. Hopefully someone would hear her and be able to help her, somehow.
