Who: Christina Nickson and Ruby Where: A park When: After this What: Hiding a body (including flashbacks to when Christina accidently killed an innocent NPC whilst freaking out over finding out she’s the a Anti-Christ) Status: Incomplete Rating: TBA
Christina put her cell phone back in her pocket and glanced at the body in front of her. There would be more time to “freak out” over what she had done later. She got to her feet and glanced around, there were bushes not to far away, they should be a good hiding place for the body – as long as the blood didn’t leave a trail.
Grabbing the corpse by the ankles, she began to drag it. He was lighter than she thought he would be, though that might be in part to the fact most of his blood was now seeping into the grass.
Christina needed to clear her head, this was all far to much. She had hoped, wished and prayed that Sam was wrong. But now it was more than evident he wasn’t. She sat down on a secluded bench in the park, trying to think straight. But it was hard, oh so, hard.
“Are you alright miss?” a man’s voice asked.
Christina glanced up to see a man standing in front of her. He looked like he was in his forties, and worry was etched across his features.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” Christina lied obviously.
“Are you sure?” the man asked. “You look ill, I’m a doctor, I can…”
“I’m fine!” Christina insisted, only now she was trying to hold back a sob. How could the devil be her…father of all things? She was the Anti-Christ, she was clearly evil. She was supposed to bring about the end of the world, slaughter millions of innocent people… But she had never felt evil in her life…why was this happening? Was it all inside her? Just waiting to come out and take over?
Christina wasn’t aware the man in front of her was choking, she wasn’t aware of the gigantic gashes suddenly appearing on his upper torso, ripping through his clothing, exposing not only blood but his innards as well. She had no idea the man was looking at her, pleading him to help her…
She had no idea she was killing him.
She set the body down behind the bushes, and then quickly began scuffing the bloody dirty with her shoe hoping it would be less noticeable. It was hard though, there was so much of it.
What have I done, she thought. What have I done?
Suddenly the man fell to the ground, his hand hitting Christina’s shoe. It was that, that snapped her from her thoughts. And that which seconds later had her nearly throwing up.
She instantly knew she had done it. But how, she had no idea. All she knew is she had killed him.
She slipped off the bench and onto the damp earth, hands over her mouth. She was trying to regulate her breathing, but it wasn’t working. She didn’t know if she should scream, or cry, or anything…
Suddenly an idea hit her, and with a shaky hand she pulled out her cell phone. She really hoped she could trust Ruby, but whether she really could or not didn’t matter right now. All that mattered was that a man was dead.
Murdered.
And Christina had no idea how she did it.
Christina wiped the blood and dirt off her hands and onto her pants, she wasn’t sure if she should sit back down on the bench and attempt looking causal if anyone happened to walk by.
She pulled at the sleeves of her coat nervously, trying to hide her hands, which were still covered in blood. In the back of her mind she could hear Lady MacBeth “out damn spot!”
Christina swallowed, and tried not to think at all. She tried to focus on how fast her heart was beating, and how it felt like it was going to explode.
