WHO: Amelia Solo and Draco Malfoy WHAT: The girlfriend and the father finally meet. WHEN: 1PM WHERE: Random diner halfway between the Hyperion and the Weir. RATING: TBD STATUS: In Progress
When Amelia had first decided to contact the father of her boyfriend, she'd been certain she was doing the mature, responsible thing. She was carrying the man's grandchild, after all, so it only seemed right that he at least know what she looked like.
Now that it was almost time to meet him, however, Amelia had to wonder just what in the kriff she'd been thinking. She had enough issues in her life right now, enough things going on, that the last thing she needed was someone else telling her what a mess she was making of things and how disappointed they were in her actions.
Granted Amelia didn't know for a fact that Draco was going to say anything along those lines, but she was worried he was and that alone was almost enough to make her turn right around and head back to the Hyperion. Ultimately, however, she decided to keep going. If she backed out of this meeting, Draco would definitely have not pleasant things to say about her. At least if she faced him directly, he would have to acknowledge as much.
So she continued down the street, on her way to the diner she'd chosen given it's almost even distance between both places of residence. She was wary of those around her, her senses on alert for any possible threats. Especially Glory or Caleb, as they were the two largest threats Angel Investigations was facing at the moment and, until she moved out of the Hyperion, she stood as good of a chance of being targeted for being there as anyone else.
Dressed in a pair of loose-fitting jeans and a top that flared at the sleeves that showed some design across the front, with her lightsaber hooked to the belt at her hips as always, Amelia hoped she wouldn't stick out too much. The biggest giveaway that she wasn't just a normal person, aside from her lightsaber of course, was her Force signature. However, it also wasn't something she knew how to hide, so she just moved as quickly as her two legs would carry her without use of the Force and hoped she made it to her meeting without incident.
She arrived at the diner a few minutes early but without incident. Amelia paused just inside the door, glancing around for that familiar shock of white-blonde hair that made it possible to pick a Malfoy male out of a line up.
