Who: Dora and Naboo
What: Dora finally takes her son outside. It's about time.
When: Sunday afternoon
Where: Random Park
Status/Rating: incomplete/PG
Dora yawned as she lay out on the park bench, legs crossed over each other and hands behind her head propping it up ever so slightly. It was sunny and warm out and she was loving the way the sun beat down on her face. She'd not just laid around like this in some time. "Fun, isn't it?" she whispered to the baby sitting on her chest. She brushed her hand across Cian's head and grinned. "Everyone else was right, I was wrong. I had to take you out eventually. Now, alright, see if you can follow mummy…"
Cian was at the stage her mum had always told her she'd gone through, morphing his hair various different shades, along with his nose, eyes, and mouth into different shapes. Dora was perfectly happy to do all that she could to encourage it, even at just under two months old. There was little she could do. She was noticing that it was more random than anything else. He wasn't choosing specific people to emulate (no matter how convinced she was that sometimes his tiny face looked like his father's) but Dora liked to think that she could help him along. Even if he proceeded to turn his hair blue when she turned her hair blonde.
"Oh well, you're close and you'll get better," she said with a laugh. "Watch this." Dora pointed to a woman walking by their bench and proceeded to very easily take her features on as her own. "Admittedly, your mum's a bit out of practice too, but it really does come quite easily."
Dora bounced Cian up and down a bit before looking for a new victim. "Oh, look over there, that lady looks a bit like your grandmother…" She grinned and took on the woman's face, laughing aloud when Cian simply turned his hair back to its natural brown.
