WHO: Jaina Solo, Hiro Nakamura, and Peter Petrelli WHAT: How to train the Sword of the Jedi - Heroes style! WHEN: Early afternoon WHERE: The Hyperion RATING: TBD STATUS: In Progress
Although Jaina had yet to officially face off with Darth Caedus, she knew she had a lot of work ahead of her if she was going to stand a chance of beating him. With only about half her memories, one hand that was still capable of using the Force, and a limited amount of Jedi support, she'd decided to seek outside sources to help her. At first she'd gone the typical route - advice from her Master, training courtesy of Mirta Gev, and a strict regimen that had helped keep her in tune with the Force much more so than she'd been before. However she was starting to realize that typical likely wasn't going to be enough, so she'd started to think outside the proverbial box.
Which is how she found herself standing in front of the Hyperion. After much discussion, meditation, and debate, Jaina had finally contacted the very people her uncle had depended on when he'd found himself in Los Angeles. The very people who had taught him, as a boy, a fighting technique that would later help to shape an entire generation of Jedi. If they couldn't help her, she wasn't sure who could.
So here she stood, an email and agreement to meet later. Her lightsaber hung at her side, her Jedi robes making her stand out yet also serving as a reminder of who she was. She was the Sword of the Jedi. She did the things that other Jedi couldn't. At the moment, that meant getting training from outsiders in order to bring down her twin brother. It wasn't something she enjoyed, but she was determined to see it through. She owed the memory of the man Jacen had once been that much, at least.
And with that thought in mind, she stepped into the Hyperion and glanced around, ready to learn whatever edge she could to see this come to an end sooner rather than later.
