General Zod was pacing over the city, flying around and seeking out worthy challenges. He'd found none so far. He had killed a few demons when they refused to kneel. There were a couple cops.. one of them was quick to bow after the death of his partner.
He had eventually made his way above an alley. He saw a vampire drinking from a young woman. He did nothing. A mortal's demise at those freaks was none of his concern. No, he just observed until the thing was done. Then he descended behind him. "Good, you have fed. Now show your thanks for allowing you to do so."
"Wha.." The fiend turned around, seeing a man in a dark outfit. It looked kind of odd. But the look in the man's eyes was one of power. As one used to being obeyed. "Allowing me? Man, fuck you. Just who do you think-"
"General Zod," the man said sternly. "Your ruler. Your kind have, thus far, been permitted by me to live. To feed. To terrorize these inferior humans as you see fit. The only natural action now would be to bow before your superior. Kneel before Zod. Or be crushed for your defiance."
The thing just stared at him, as if he had two heads.. or something. Then he just laughed, shaking his head. "Gotta admit, had me goin' there for a second. I almost thought you were serious. No, buddy, how about you get down and.. well, I think you'd know. Your mom certainly would."
"You dare to mock the noble House of Zod?!" He was not very pleased. In response, he reached out his hand and grabbed the creature's throat, now holding him a foot above the ground. "It is one thing to not obey my order. But to disrespect my line.. there is but one penalty. You must die."
Before the undead man could say anything more, or even protest.. he felt the man's hand tighten around his neck, until he had a closed fist. Then.. he had no neck as it was ash, as was his head that fell down.. the rest of the body then dissolved.
Zod laughed, wiping his hands free of the ashen dust particles. He smirked wickedly then, looking down at the remains. "Such is the fate of those who defy the will of Zod." He let out a breath, which caused the dust to blow away in several directions, leaving no trace of the fiend's existence..
