WHO: Anakin Solo & [open]
WHAT: Working? Really.
WHERE: tiny computer store somewhere
WHEN: daytime
RATING: G? PG? TBC.
STATUS: in progress~
When Anakin had first arrived in LA, well, he'd had to give himself time to heal before doing much of anything. (And how did a dead person heal, anyway? Was he really dead? ... Did it even matter? Leave the philosophical questions to Jacen, if he ever turned up.) But once he'd done that (or rather, once he'd almost done that), his next task had been to figure out just how the computers of this world worked.
This had involved spending a lot of time in a computer store close to the apartment he'd found. It was a small store, with just a few members of staff and a whole lot of computers and technical equipment, and this, Anakin had thought, was the kind of afterlife he liked.
He'd gotten a small laptop on credit (once the staff decided he was good for it ... with a little help from the Force), and promptly took it apart and made it run faster. It still hadn't been perfect, though, so he'd taken it back to try and trade it in for a higher-end model.
The manager had demanded to know how he'd gotten the "piece of crap" computer to work so efficiently, and Anakin had smiled bemusedly, shrugged and said, "I'm good with computers."
Somehow, this had gotten him saddled with a part-time PC repair job.
Not that he minded at all. It was something to do, and it definitely helped pay for his apartment better than, "You don't need to see my rent check."
This was where he was now: sitting at the front counter of the store, a half-built computer in front of him and the same thoughtful expression on his face that he got when solving any puzzle.
Computers were definitely his thing.
(Along with lightsaber duels, flying, knocking down bad guys...)
