The problem with Vincent was that despite what good qualities he had, he was always having an affair with his one true love: Money. Vincent simply loved money, and all of the pleasures it could buy for him. Although he had a job working at a church as secretary, it didn't pay enough for his desires. Which was why Vincent had spent a month growing out his hair, and another week growing out a small beard. His plan was simple, go to random parks, play a guitar, and make it look like he was street musician. Vincent knew that he couldn't actually play the guitar, but hey, people paid money to get musicians to shut up, didn't they? Besides, he had watched enough videos to hopefully be able to fake that he had 'some' iota of skill.
Dressed in a tattered Opeth shirt, and torn jeans, Vincent grabbed his guitar (a beat up looking piece of shit.) and started walking to the nearest park. It was only when he got there that he put on a pair of shades, and sit himself on a spot of grass. The area he had chosen was populated, which was a good thing. He tuned up his guitar, and when it seemed tuned right that's when he started playing. As expected, if his playing wasn't considered god-awful, then it was just average.
A mother with her child walked by Vincent, and the little boy of five years old stopped to look at Vincent. "Mommy, why is that man beating up that guitar?" the little boy asked.
"James, he's a musician. We should leave him alone now." She gave her son a little tug to keep them going along their way.
Vincent continued to play, causing a small crowd to gather around him. As expected he got booed a lot, but then it happened. Someone tossed him five dollars, and yelled, "Please, stop playing!"
Vincent grabbed the money, smirked, and continued to play.
