Amy didn't mind going out at night anymore. She had gained control over her powers, and to her relief, they didn't make her evil. She was more than capable of protecting herself from anything that might want to come after her.
This particular night she was walking back to her apartment from a tea trip, bag containing the box on her arm. Despite the popularity of coffee, she would always be a tea girl. She was almost to home when a man stepped right out in front of her.
No, not a man. A vampire.
"Going somewhere, cupcake?"
Amy gave him a cocky grin, one that didn't look like it belonged on her face. He looked confused for a second until her eyes went completely white and he slammed into the wall and suck there as if by some invisible force.
"Don't you people ever learn women aren't as defenseless as they look?" She asked as she slowly walked toward him. "I mean, you'd think the Slayers would have convinced you."
He looked scared. She kind of felt sorry for him. Who would want to live off the blood of others, especially forever?
As she held up her hand, he burst into flame, but not an ordinary flame. Not a natural flame, but a supernatural, white flame that would have been strange to look at if she hadn't seen it before.
She sighed as soon as he was gone, eyes returning to their normal hazel. As horrible as she knew they were, she didn't like killing them.
