Who: Jo Harvelle, Jessica Moore
When: Shortly after this
Where: Ending at the Roadhouse
Rating: Mature-ish given the state of the city
Jo had seen a lot of things both before finding herself in LA and since, but the way the city had seemed to change entirely within the span of a day was probably top of her list. All around her were the signs of the decay, the gore, the dead bodies strewn around that weren't there before. Worse than that for her was the smell, the stench of death and rotting. It made her stomach turn. She hadn't planned on leaving the Roadhouse much, camping out in the apartment upstairs with Cox and his son, the poor kid pretty shaken up with everything, but this was definitely something to make an exception for. While Jo hadn't ever met Jess, had only heard whatever Sam had told her, she still didn't like the idea of someone Sam cared about being alone in this. Sam had loved her, probably still did, and that was more than enough for Jo.
She kept a hand on the barrel of the shotgun she had slid beside her leg in her truck, the other on the wheel, as she drove the roads to Sam and Dean's room to get Jess. The whole thing creeped her out. Pulling up in front of the room she decided to leave the shotgun for the moment, she had a smaller gun tucked into the back of her pants anyways and she didn't want to freak out Jess even more. She walked up to the door and knocked lightly.
"Jess... Sam sent me to get you," she spoke through the door when she heard footsteps.
