Who: Seth Nightlord and [OPEN] What: She returns home. Where: Near St Vibianas. When: Tonight. Rating: TBD Status: Incomplete
Seth Nightlord’s world had always been ruled by logic and science. When she was younger, she believed she could take all the mysteries of the world and give them a plausible explanation or at least a good theory. Except human nature began to become that indecipherable secret she couldn’t understand and was so easy for Lilith to know it. Then, she had to stop being the spoiled wiz little sister, when she was alone and she had to become the mother. But science was her constant companion, the pillar she had to rely when nobody else offered a shoulder to lean on.
That pillar was destroyed by that red-clothed woman who had somehow awoken them. She had been kept a prisoner of her own body and watched how 03 killed humans and vampires alike until Lilith…
Until Lilith…
She squeezed her eyes shut and rubbed the line of her neck. There was no scratch or bruise that showed the cold fact Lilith had beheaded her. She wondered if she died, but she knew that wasn’t enough to kill her because Seth had felt the painful regeneration process 03 had done until her head and body were connected once more. Fortunately, Seth had recovered the control when they were done.
Now, after weeks of wandering, she was coming back to the only place she had casually regarded as home. It wasn’t guilt or remorse over the dead victims what drove her away from the Cathedral (it wasn’t Seth’s fault, and she knew she was completely innocent and a victim), but she was bothered by her grave miscalculation and angry with her defeat.
No point crying over spilled milk and the dead had returned somehow. She still looked skeptical at the miracle and recalled the Puppetmaster, Dietrich, from the Orden, he fancied himself to call his Lazarus from their rest.
There was pride she had to heal. Hey at least, Seth smiled to herself, I know what I’m up against with 03. She looked up, spotting the beautiful layout of the Church closing by and picked her pacing to skip towards it.
