"Wait, that's it? Aren't you going to-" and her questioning of the Fates, currently in the from of the youngest one, the little girl knitting, was over. Blue mist swirled around her, and she found herself being sucked into the ground. The next second she found herself standing at the top of some steps, looking down at a city street below. Eve turned, looking behind her, to see herself staring up at the front doors of a massive, old looking church. "Think they're so funny." she muttered with an eye roll. Eve never did like going to Church.
"Excuse me." someone said as a group of people walked past her. One of the women looked directly at her and smiled, before entering the church. Eve's jaw nearly hit the ground. That woman saw her! No body ever saw her, except Necromancers. She didn't meet many of those, except Jamie. When the Fates had said this assignment was going to be different, she wasn't expecting this. She could still feel it, the power that she had accepted in order to defeat the Nix. She could also feel her magic, and a bit of her demonic power...what kind of world was this?
This city before her looked a mess. Like it had nearly been destroyed. According to the Fates, it had almost been. And because the Supernatural community was running wild, they were sending Eve in. How long was she going to be here? She knew at least six months. Eve had just said her goodbyes to Kristof a few moments ago, and now she had half a year without him. But if this went on longer than six months, would the Fates bring her back? "This is me, not happy." she said out loud, but was addressing the Fates, almost positive they could here her. She had been warned she was going to be up for a few surprises here. Always so cryptic. Couldn't they just lay it out flat for her?
It had been years since she was walking around in a body like this. It was her body, but it had been killed. This was new. She wasn't sure where she should start looking, but a basic tour through the city would probably be a good place to start.
