Who: Hiro and Junpei. What: Hiro wants to see Junpei's abilities. When: Evening. Where: The Firestone Arcade. Rating: TBD.
Hiro wasn't so certain on whether or not Junpei was actually going to make it to the arcade. He had invited him to stop by if he wanted to, but Hiro didn't exactly expect for him to come all the way over if things were bad in the city. Sure, the Horsemen were gone, but there were still vampires and monsters and villains wandering about. No one liked that. Not unless they planned on fighting them, and from what Hiro had learned during his stay in L.A. thus far, he had already managed to determine that there were few among them who sought out trouble without a direct purpose. Not many fought. Heroes, as it were. Which was why Hiro was determined to change that. He had to.
Standing in front of one of the machines, Hiro pushed up his glasses and mashed at the buttons. A determined sort of look was set onto his face as he twisted the joystick back and slammed his fingers down onto the various assortment of red and blue buttons in front of him. He continued to do so for a good while, moving Wolverine back and forth until, finally, his character toppled to the ground and the screen faded to black.
GAME OVER.
Throwing a hand up into the air, Hiro pointed a finger at the machine and said, "you will not defeat me, machine! I will return with more quarters!"
Then he turned on his heel and strode toward the front, glaring off at the machine over his shoulder until, suddenly, he rammed into someone in front of him. Sputtering out a rushed apology, Hiro pushed his hands out in front of him in a defensive manner and looked off at the person that he'd plowed toward.
"Ah, Junpei." He nearly bowed as a form of greeting. Instead he raised a hand and forced a big smile. "You have come!"
