The casual way he spoke, as though he almost hadn't been expecting to see her and certainly hadn't been anxious over it being sooner rather than later, made Amelia's smile seem to grow even more. "Well, hello yourself," she greeted him as she stepped past him, into the room.
Glancing around, Amelia wasted no time in making her way to the edge of his bed and perching upon it. Her gray eyes slid across the room, to him, and her smile turned less excited and more subdued, although still just as happy. "So, your father hasn't happened to remember the dinner, has he? Because at the rate things are going, unless he does, we might just manage to avoid having to go. Since clearly Jacen and Tenel Ka aren't likely to remember."
They hadn't even remembered her birthday, after all. She couldn't imagine this being very high on their priority list either. Not that Amelia was complaining. A lack of a dinner made spending time with Scorpius much easier to manage, which is just how she preferred it.
