WHO: Katara and OPEN WHAT: Returning from the dead to the Hyperion. WHEN: Not long after this. WHERE: The Hyperion RATING: TBD (I doubt it'll be very high) STATUS: In Progress
Moving swiftly along the coastline rather than trying to cut across town, Katara arrived at the Hyperion not long after she'd spoken with a few people over the message boards. She was dressed in her Waterbending robes, her pouch slung over her side and filled with holy water she'd gotten from a nearby church the moment she'd realized where she was. Her long, brown hair was pulled back, away from her face. Her brilliant blue eyes were filled with a mixture of happiness and worry. This city had been through a lot, since she'd last seen it. Her friends, she assumed, had been through even more.
Approaching the front doors she wondered if simply walking inside was the best idea. Then she thought of Cordelia, and the woman's insistence that this was a private investigation group first and foremost, and Katara pushed open one of the doors and stepped across the threshold. There was a nervous expression on her face, a pseudo-smile that was waiting to grow at the sight of someone - anyone - familiar.
"I guess showing up right after the world almost ended doesn't make for the most enthuseiastic of responses," she murmured as she glanced around, wondering if her room was still vacant. For all of her eternal slumber, she felt as though she could probably sleep for another week. Once she made sure everything else was okay, first, of course.
