WHO: Al Potter and Bellatrix Lestrange
WHAT: A random spot of violent tragedy.
WHEN: Mid-afternoon
WHERE: Just down the street from The Weir.
RATING: Might be high
STATUS: In Progress
WARNINGS: CHARACTER DEATH!!
Although, if caught, he doubted anyone would really believe him, Al did have a good reason for leaving the safety of his home even though the streets were the least safe place one could be at the moment. A small child had wandered past, alone and crying. She hadn't noticed him but he'd noticed her, and when it became apparent that she truly was alone, he'd become concerned.
So he'd ventured out, and gone only a half of a block or so when he caught up with her. Just as he spoke to her, and earned a wide-eyed look of apprehension for his trouble, he heard the terrified shout of a female. Glancing over his shoulder, Al took a step back and turned his attention to a woman he presumed to be the girl's mother. She barely glanced at him as she rushed to the child and wrapped her up in a hug.
After a proper scolding (for the girl) and a warm thank you (from the woman) they crossed the street and disappeared into a nearby shop. With a shake of his head, Al turned to go.
And promptly stopped. Because unless he was seeing things, Bellatrix Lestrange was just up the street - easily within hexing distance - and if he moved toward the Weir she'd spot him for sure. So he stayed where he was, and hoped she crossed at the corner and went about her way so he could go about his - and let someone know she was nearby as soon as he was safely inside.
