Who Cassie and Famine
Where The drugstore
When Early morning
What She's picking up, yay! only you know not so much
She was feeling better, she was still painfully thin but then that was nothing new for her really. Her previous eating disorder meant she knew how to cope, how to survive with little food. She'd been drinking plenty of water and taking vitamins but now she'd run out. She supposed she could have called Hunter, but really she thought perhaps a little fresh air would help. She'd been stuck in her apartment since this whole thing had started and Cassie really wasn't the stay at home type.
She was still shakey, but she could cope with that, she could cope with the dizziness and constant hunger pangs too. None of these things were new to her, the only thing that was was the fact she'd not stopped eating, she'd been eating just fine yet she felt like she had just before she'd been admitted into the clinic and put onto a drip. Part of her knew she should just go to the hospital, tell them what was going on and ask to be put on a drip but she was surviving, which was apparently more than a lot of people were doing.
Wrapped up in a thick warm coat Cassie was still shivering, she just couldn't keep warm anymore because there was no fat on her to keep her that way, no energy to burn. Still she could walk and she was pretty sure she hadn't passed out. As she walked into the drugstore she blinked a few times as the bright overhead lights made her head spin and she had to hold on to the door for a seond to stop herself from collapsing. After a few seconds she felt well enough to continue on inside. There was no bottled water left unsurprisingly, in fact a lot of the shelves were almost empty. There was just one box of the most expensive multi-vitamins left which she reached out to take with a shaking hand. As she did so another wave of dizziness hit her, causing her to reach out automatically to steady herself. As her vision cleared she looked up to see that she was holding onto the arm of a thin looking man. "Oh wow, sorry," she said quietly, waiting for the dark spots in front of her eyes to clear.
