Who: Hunter Niall and Lavender Brown. What: Hunter tries to help, and fails. Where: Hyperion Hotel When: Very shortly after her post. Rating: D for depressing much? Status: In progress.
Even though he had specifically told Lavender to stay calm, and to not panic, Hunter wasn't exactly a great role model for following his own advice. Throwing ingredients he had brought home from the shop in his bag, he attempted to stop himself from hyperventilating. It wasn't like he had the greatest track record when it came to saving people from the brink of death, and the evidence of that was in his little brother who he had allowed to succumb to the dark magick. Hunter didn't know what he would do with himself if he couldn't save Lavender.
It didn't take him long to reach the hotel, as he was in more of a hurry than he had been to kill his step brother back in Widow's Vale, and even though he spent half of the journey attempting to send one text message, which he failed at because he hated technology he got there pretty snappily. He was allowed into the hotel, and he didn't spare a moment before searching for the familiar feeling of Lavender's magick that he had grown used to over the months. Remember that staying calm thing? It still wasn't working for the teenage witch, and the moment he found what he thought to be Lavender's room in the hotel, he pushed open the door forcefully and rushed inside, ripping his satchel bag over his head and tossing it on the ground before joining his friend.
"Lavender? It's okay, I'm here now. I'll fix this."
