Everyone in the office seemed to notice just how grumpy Lois was this morning.
It was quite the dead giveaway when she came in, throwing her purse on her desk, flopping into her chair with a frustrated grunt, and then proceeding to slam the drawers of her desk open and shut as she searched for something.
She was still practically fuming over the not-so-pleasant little encounter she'd had with the being known as Bizarro the night before on the message boards.
How dare he.
How dare he insult her in such a way, and how dare he go around, wearing the face of her dearly departed fiance. Her Clark had been everything right and good in the word, and this guy was a monster, not to mention a, dare she say, ass.
She wished she knew how to destroy him, she'd probably attempt it in a heartbeat. The only problem was, even if she did know of a way to do it, would she ever have the heart to, considering who he looked like? She wasn't even sure, and that made her even angrier. At herself.
She heaved a great sigh, and leaned back in her chair, wondering if the editor might assign her with something today. She really hoped he would, so she'd have something to take her mind off things.
