Who: Barbara Gordon + Open to JLAers
What: Babs is sitting in the HQ trying to figure out the Diana situation
When: Right after this
Where: JLA HQ
Status/Rating: Incomplete/PG-13?
Barbara stared at the computer on the desk before looking at her own laptop, sitting in her lap. She didn't want to touch the computer in front of her. Not until she'd figured out what exactly she was supposed to do about the tiny figure of Diana that sat on the screen. He fingers flew across her keyboard as she searched for information, going far beyond Google to try and figure out what had happened to her long time friend. Los Angeles' message boards were open in one window, while more than one DOS applications ran in the background. Information mining at its best.
While the systems ran, Babs pushed back from the desk and started moving herself towards the small kitchen area where a fresh pot of coffee was sitting. She knew a long night coming when she saw one and she wasn't going to welcome the caffeine with drawl headaches that would come along if she didn't feed her addiction. She'd never been against the occasional caffeine pill or two, but she preferred to start with the liquid. It made her feel like less of an addict than she was.
There were two monitors mounted in the kitchen, allowing her to monitor the entrance and her computers while she poured herself something to drink. Her eyes flicked up towards the screens, noting the movements of a door opening, but not catching exactly who it had been.
"In the kitchen," she called out lightly, knowing her voice would carry as needed. "Don't touch the computers out there."
