WHO: Jazz and Mikaela WHAT: Jazz ends up in L.A. alive and confused WHERE: Starts a few miles outside of the city, then downtown WHEN: Jan. 22, early evening RATING: TBD STATUS: In progress
This was not where he’d just been a second ago. Jazz got up from where he’d landed, unharmed from what he could tell, and looked around. Where was the battle? Where was the city? Where were the other bots and Sam and Mikaela? “Man, what’s goin’ down?” Needless to say, the Autobot lieutenant was very, very confused. He saw that he was outside a nearby city, and from what he could tell it was Los Angeles.
“Where’s everybody at?” he asked himself, throwing his arms up. This was going to be fun. He had to find Optimus and the rest of them to at least figure out if they won the battle. Obviously he wouldn’t know, considering he’d been yanked out of it just when he’d been grabbed by Megatron. So as not to arouse suspicion from any humans that might pass, he decided to transform and drive into the city. He’d have a better chance doing that than just standing there confused. Jazz used one of the break dancing moves he’d learned from studying Earth’s urban culture and at the same time started to transform. Soon a sleek Pontiac Solstice replaced the 15 foot tall Autobot.
Jazz drove onto the road, starting the drive into the city. Hopefully he’d be able to find someone he knew. He needed to know whether the Decepticons had gotten the Allspark. He turned on his radio just as Soulja Boy’s ‘Crank Dat’ came on. It was one of the few hip-hop songs he didn’t like, but he left it on for the beat.
Soon he was within the city. He thought to himself, Welcome to LA, man.
It didn't take long for the small silver car to make its way through traffic and into the downtown area. Driving around aimlessly wasn't benifitting him much. It would take him forever to find Bee and the other bots this way. Especially if they were in their other forms. God knew there were a whole bunch of cars in the city.
Just then, something started to feel wrong with him, as if one of his parts were malfunctioning. At first it was just slightly annoying, but as the seconds and minutes passed, it got worse. Trying to get out of the pubic eye as best he could, Jazz shifted back into Autobot form. "Dude, this is seriously jacked up..." It wasn't normal for a robot to feel like that. No part of him was malfunctioning, so what was it? "Where's Sam and Mikaela when I need 'em?"
As if this wasn't bad enough, it seemed he'd caught the attention of the humans. A woman screamed and then others started feaking out as well. Not knowing what else to do, Jazz just stood there, kind of frustrated. "Yo, chill out! I ain't gonna hurt ya'll." A note to remember...talking robot=scared people. This couldn't possibly get any worse...
