WHO: Dominique Weasley and Chris Kent. WHERE: Outside the Hyperion onwards. WHEN: Evening? You know, I haven't a clue! WHAT: Demon stalking, basically. RATING: TBA. STATUS: In progress.
Ever since she had found out someone in the building was having a baby, she had retreated to her room, and basically under the bed to get away from it all. She didn't have any desire to help, and nor did she like children. When Louis was born she was nowhere near her family and she didn't plan on giving this kid the satisfaction of stealing her attention for the day when she was basically too afraid to hand it over to a screaming kid. So, now having the option to get out and do something even though it would mean potentially putting her life on the line or something equally as irresponsible, she was going to take it and she wasn't going to tell anyone she was doing so.
Shutting her computer down after she had gotten the address, made the introductions and bantered about parents, she sneaked out of the Weir to the best of her ability making sure no one noticed her while she was leaving and asked her where she was going. Because she highly doubted they'd just let her go out and chase demons for the laughs. Dominique spent the good part of the hour she had tracking down a bus that would take her to her destination, and, when she had finally caught one she had officially given up on public transport all together. She would walk next time, even if it meant walking for one week to get there. Sometimes muggle stuff just wasn't worth it.
She hopped off at the bus at the location she hoped she had to be meeting this Chris person at, and she stood uselessly on the other side of the road, chewing on her bottom lip and glancing at her feet every few seconds. A glance down at her outfit and she realized suddenly that maybe she could have changed into something more practical for this venture, because a pristine white blouse and a skirt hardly screamed I'm ready to fight a demon, did it? Sighing, she looked up and across the road and decided to cross. Right after she got over the cars trying to run her over.
