"Tigers are better!" Monty declared, waving the Detroit pennant in from of Simon's face. Despite being seated in the Angels' fan section, he'd insisted on having the pennant with the tiger on it instead. Nathan had dutifully coughed up the cash for it, then tried not to grimace when Monty decided to also root for the team instead of just be happy with the pennant.
"No, angels are," Simon retorted, yanked the pennant away from his face and nearly wacking Monty with his giant foam finger as he shook it at his brother in a vague impersonation of a scold. "Like Angel Investigations. So nyah."
"And the mascots don't play the game, that's why this argument ends now," Nathan said, steering both his young sons out of the building with his hands on their heads, one eye trained on Toby as well, as he hadn't yet discovered a third arm on his body. It would be a handy thing to grow lately, but still nothing.
