After being home for fifteen or so years, she never thought she was coming back here again. But apparently, it had only been hours she was gone in this world. And then back came an older, slightly more mature, and definitely more skilled Ginny Potter, no longer Weasley. At first she had been confused, but it hadn't taken her long to realize where she had seen the bedroom before. Only a few minutes on the computer confirmed the fact that she was back in this twisted version of Los Angeles, and her family was still here.
Standing up, she brushed her (still) bright red hair out of her eyes, letting it fall past her shoulders before she headed to the doors. Where was Harry? Were the kids still in their rooms. Who was living here anyway? Even when she had been here years ago, she still hadn't been sure who was living in what room. Opening the door, Ginny stepped out into the hallway, looking up and down. Now, if memory served her right, the kids rooms were to the left and down the hall, and Harry's parents were to the right. Right?
Trying to remember, Ginny looked up and down the hallway, crossing her arms over her chest. The desire to see if her children were there came first, so she started off in the direction she thought they were, hand reaching out for the first door to knock.
