If one thing could be said about Mantis, it was that once he got something in his head to do, he was going to see it through to the end. And while the future tended to change moment by moment, there were always.. fixed points that remained the same. A destination, in which numerous paths could be taken to reach it. And one such point was the arrival of the two ancient beings at the Hyperion. --At first, they had been brought there after being attacked by demons and rescued by Angel and the Fire-Prince; then they had been attacked and had made their way to the Hyperion on their own; then they had discovered the hotel and asked for assistance to get out of the human girl's way. The most recent thread showed the small, dark-haired one being attacked by a blond man, nearly as ancient himself---and being brought to the Hyperion afterwards.
Mantis had decided that he was really rather sick of the fighting, and had taken it upon himself to get them there without all the fuss. He hadn't told the others, of course, because it hadn't exactly occurred to him to do so---he was lucky, some days, to even remember that he knew the other people in the hotel.
He had dressed as non-threateningly as he knew how, in dark trousers and a dark gray cable-knit sweater (both items bought for him by one of the other residents; he couldn't function well enough in society to purchase clothing on his own), pulled on his boots and a long hooded coat, and had made his way outside with little more than a three-word warning that he was leaving.
Outside the Hyperion, he focused on making himself as inconspicuous as possible, urging minds around him to ignore the man in the gas-mask. Down streets, through crowds of people that gave him a headache, and finally, up to a second-floor door that he didn't bother to knock on. (Knock? What reason would he need to knock?) Instead, he simply opened the locks telekinetically and opened the door, stepping inside and allowing his gaze to find the taller non-human. The dark-haired one was in the shower, if the sound of running water was any indication.
"Come," he stated simply, and held out a slender, leather-gloved hand. "Room for you and your mate at the Hyperion. Should not stay here."
