Skyfire stared down at his chest then back to Starscream with a look of faint amusement. The fact that he had poked him in the chest was humorous enough, but the statement he made after the fact brought a smile to Skyfire's lips that he couldn't possibly hide.
Of course, by that point, Starscream was already going in search of clothing and Skyfire was one more left alone with Mantis. His gaze went back to the other man and surprise shone in his blue eyes for a moment at the answer to his unasked question. The answer did explain quite a bit, though.
"Well then," he stated, "thank you for helping. Bypassing trouble is never a bad thing, I would think." His own gaze went over his shoulder, to the bedroom where Starscream was dressing, before returning to Mantis.
"He has his reasons," he answered simply enough. "But, like them or not, he'll be fine. I'll make sure of it." Which was a simple statement of truth.
Moving to the computer, he began the process of shutting it down and tidying up the area he'd been using before Mantis had arrived. As he did so, he glanced back to the other man and asked curiously, "Why is it you wear that mask?"
It seemed, perhaps, like an odd question to ask when there was an entire plethora of other questions he could ask instead, but that one seemed the most intriguing to him at the moment. Therefore, it was the one he wanted to know about.
