Who: Tonks, Remus, and Bella What: A continuation from here. Tonks has just invited Bella to live with her and Remus and they've spent the better part of an hour laying out ground rules (pls2b not killing people while I'm your guardian?) and hashing out various opinions on Lord Voldemort. Everything's fine and dandy except for the fact that Tonks never exactly asked her husband how he felt about having her evil aunt living with them... When: Backdated, Sept 5th Where: Lupin apartment Status: Incomplete/PG-13
"They say insanity runs in the family," Dora muttered to herself as she dumped the jar of pasta sauce into a small pot on the stove. "So really, I have a very good excuse for this."
Except for it wasn't a good excuse at all. With Bella retreated back to the guest room she was free to lean against the wall and let out a giant sigh of relief. It was as of all the muster and gusto she'd had while speaking with Bella had simply disappeared, especially faced with the challenge she knew was coming. Remus would be home soon and she was going to have to explain this circumstance to her husband. She was going to have to explain to him why the future Bellatrix Lestrange was sitting on a bed in the back room.
Dora flicked her wand and the spoon began stirring in the sauce by itself. Her heart was barely in it as she thought about the talk to come. Yes, Bella had been vaguely agreeable during their talk, but she knew that wasn't going work as an argument. Oh yes, she didn't try to hex me, and so she should be able to live with us.
"God, I'm suffering from Black Madness and I'm only twenty-four."
