WHO: Mary Jane & Peter. WHAT: Doctor visit. WHEN: This morning. WHERE: Some random doctor's office. RATING: TBD. STATUS: Incomplete.
Mary Jane and Peter had made it to the appointment at 9:30 in the morning on the dot. It hadn't taken very long to be called into the examination room, and Mary Jane thanked whatever higher powers there were for that. She didn't think she could take sitting in a stuffy waiting room for more than a few minutes. Her heart had been pounding all night, and it was still continuing to hammer away even as she awoke the next morning, though she hadn't exactly slept very well. This was the most crucial moment of her life, of both of their lives, and she didn't know what to do with herself.
The exam and pregnancy test itself hadn't taken long, either, but waiting for the results was a task in itself. She and Peter waited for what seemed like forever, just making quiet small talk and comforting one another to try and rid themselves of their nerves. Of course, it didn't work and it wasn't going to, but bless their hearts for trying.
The waiting process was the last thing Mary Jane remembered. The doctor coming in and revealing to them the results -- that she was, in fact, pregnant -- was just a blur. She'd fallen into a daze and hadn't even remotely come out of it until they'd both left the building completely. The fresh air seemed to snap her out of her reverie, and she idly placed a hand over her stomach.
