Who: Nick Jonas and Alex Russo. What: A movie date. Where: Cinemas! When: 6PM sharp. Rating: Won't get that high, really. They're Disney kids through and through. Status: In progress.
Tonight was an important night for the youngest Jonas. And it wasn't just the fact that he was going to be taking one of the coolest, prettiest girls he had ever met out on a date, it was also for the fact that he could do as much without cameras in his face. Without worrying about whether or not said date was going to be plastered over every teen heart throb magazine with a girl plastered on his arm a couple of days later. It meant he wouldn't have to spend those two days seemingly relaxed only to be thrown into the limelight in the completely wrong way straight after. And he was determined, damn determined in fact to have this go right. He wanted Alex to enjoy herself, and he wanted to just forget about everything that had been bothering him so they could have a good night.
Pulling on a stray curl to bounce it back in place, he moved back from the full length mirror to admire his outfit in full view. He had gone out earlier to purchase a few new shirts, considering most of the clothing he had gotten his hands on were just plain t-shirts with slogans on them, and he liked to dress up for special occasions. For tonight, he had chosen a primary red dress shirt which he had rolled the sleeves up on, so as to fit the warmer air and to make it more casual. It said less dinner date and more trip to the movies. To break the brightness of the red, he was wearing a black tie and had on a pair of loose, black jeans. Nick was opting out of the skinny jeans, lately. He just didn't feel comfortable with them right now. And on his feet were his trademark red Converses. Gone were the dress shoes, gone was the stylist. Oh, he liked those clothes but casual was what he wanted. He was going to take advantage of his lack of limelight for now.
Once he was satisfied with his appearance, he nodded a farewell to the brother on the bed and made his way over to the bathroom where he was aware Alex was getting ready. He swallowed down all feelings of nervousness, he had to try and play it cool tonight. Nerves only made it worse, right? He raised a fist to the door, and knocked twice softly, keeping his head low and on his shoes, in full anticipation for the door to swing open and for his date to appear.
