It had been a long night, they'd found a nest, but no word on Drake or any leads. She was exhausted and wore quite a few cuts and bruises from tonight. Stopping in the main room she started shedding some of her gear, taking Kings weapons from him. "Hey Booth. She upstairs?" She smiled and nodded to him, playing the video as usual for it being so late at night. That was how it went when he couldn't sleep she was quickly learning. She still had yet to meet his partner.
"I'm just gonna go put this stuff up, can you make me a drink baby?" She smiled towards Hannibal. Carrying their things she walked down the stairs, letting the door shut behind her. she knew the layout so well she didn't bother to hit the lights until she dropped the stuff on the table. She was drained, ready to collapsed. But then she turned to but the Bonejack up and that's when she saw it.
Her eyes grew wide, she turned pale and clammy. A scream just wouldn't come, not that it was like her to scream in any situation. The horrified look on her face was plastered there. In her mind she was put right back in that moment in the past. Sommerfield. The closest thing to a sister she ever had. Tears leaked down her cheeks and she stumbled back up the stairs, tripping over a few of them until she fell through the door and skidded across the floor.
Her entire body was trembling and she was white as a ghost. Abby felt paralyzed. But somehow in a choked voice she managed to mutter out her friends name. "S-s-sommerfield." She kept saying it over and over again. Her mind was swept up in the past, the day her family she'd come to love like blood, when they were taken from her. Pain like that didn't need to be relived, but this was unavoidable. Drake had been here.
"He.. he was here." Her voice was barely above a whisper. She barely noticed King or Booth even being there now. Abby crouched in a corner, her cheek against the wall as she sobbed. He was going to get her too and now she realized, there was nothing they or anyone could do to stop it.
