WHO: Amelia Solo, Anakin Skywalker, and Jaina Solo
WHAT: A meeting, as requested by Anakin.
WHEN: Right after this.
WHERE: The Hyperion
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress
In the span of less than twenty-four hours, Amelia's entire reality as she knew it had been turned on its ear. She had begun the day locked in a room with a man she was convinced hated her, had learned that wasn't the case at all, had reached an understanding with him, had agreed to go have some pizza with him, and had ended up spending the rest of her meal hearing from two very important women in her life that Caedus might very well be in the city. Now she found herself sitting in the lobby of the Hyperion, waiting for her great-grandfather and aunt to arrive, had all but realized she was going to be treated like a child during this entire Caedus debacle, and seriously found herself wanting nothing more than to go back to her room and hide under her bed until everything stopped spinning so wildly out of control.
Some part of Amelia was absolutely positive that this was all just a bad dream and she would wake up at any second to find Ben standing over her, giving her his patented look of disapproval for being such a klutz that she got herself knocked unconscious. The other part of her, however, knew that this was now reality as she knew it and she needed to stop wishing otherwise and focus on the here and now. Which is precisely what she was trying to do. Wait patiently (or as patiently as she could) for the arrival of her 'guests' and listen to whatever they had to say with as open of a mind as possible.
Of course, that would be a lot easier if she wasn't also worried that they were both going to show up demanding that Jacen be dealt with right alongside Caedus, or something equally unfair. Logically she knew that was unlikely - Jaina, if anything, loved her brother too much to just attack him for something he would eventually do - but the tiny part of her that still thought of him as 'Jedi Jacen' worried nonetheless.
Well, I guess I'm about to find out, she thought to herself as first one, then another, presence in the Force drew close enough to signify Anakin and Jaina's arrival. Sitting up a bit straighter, Amelia rose as the door opened and watched silently as Jaina stepped inside. Anakin would be in within a moment or two, she was sure, so she waited to say anything until both were present and accounted for.
