Confusion, truly, reigned supreme for Skyfire at that moment. What did he mean, he was here? Of course he was here. Where else would he be? His brow furrowed as he tried to make sense of it all, even forgetting how very cold he was in the lieu of a question for which he had no answer. He wasn't thinking quite as he should, his brain not seemingly able to analyze at the speed with which he was accustomed. It was all so utterly new and strange and, some small part of him realized, quite terrifying even if he didn't really feel frightened.
"Missed me?" he heard himself echoing in a voice that was his own yet not. It wasn't just the sound, either. It wasn't like him to repeat things. But this... this was all to baffling. The ice, the snow, the wind, their bodies, all were gone and he had no understanding as to why or even how.
"What's going on, Starscream?" he finally managed to ask the first question, although it was hardly the last of them. "Where are we? What's happened to us?"
It wasn't like him to ask so many questions, wasn't normal for him to be so utterly baffled. Yet clearly this wasn't a typical situation, either. Something had happened, something significant and, he suspected, far worse than the simple change in their forms. Although at the moment, it was their change in forms which held his fascination.
He pulled back slightly, not enough to break free of the other man's almost desperate grasp upon him, but just enough to study him closely. Starscream looked nothing like he should and yet it was still clearly him. Out of everything else, of that Skyfire had zero doubt.
Yet even with that certainty, and amidst all the doubts and confusion, his curiosity managed to work its way to the surface. His hand slowly rose and moved toward the other man's cheek. Fingers that were far too sensitive brushed against flesh that was much too soft and his eyes widened at the wetness he felt.
"Starscream, you're leaking," he said in bewildered concern.
