He hadn't expected the shadow-port, and so it took him a couple seconds to look around and get his bearings. The roof...of course. Last time Elisabeth had been upset, she had brought him up to a roof, as well. Of course, that night had ended with them getting intimate. Remy was fairly sure that wouldn't be the case this time.
He heard her out, and although he knew what she was saying made sense, he still couldn't seem to let his annoyance and anger die. He was used to living with young kids - obviously, considering his years in the mansion. But with everything on his mind lately, the prospect did not really seem all that appealing at the moment, a new larger house or not. Still, it was mostly Elisabeth's questioning of his recent whereabouts that got his attention. He still didn't want to tell her about Rogue. She had every right to know, but for some reason, he wanted it to be his secret, and his alone.
"Or, is dat what dis attitude is about? You not been havin' any of your usual fun lately? Is dat why you brought me up here? Tell me, Lis'beth...you looking for a repeat of last time?" He flashed a wicked grin with this last comment. He knew these comments could infuriate her...he was kind of hoping that would be the case. The angrier she was, the less chance she would continue questioning him, or try to peek into his thoughts.
