He gawked at her for a moment as if she didn't know his nick names. Instead he just laughed. " Big Rob always says my name should just be legally changed to Trouble." Joe shrugged as he leaned pleasantly into the touch. He thrived on affection.
"Kay..I'm pretty tired.." Truth was he was more sad than anything. The smile he wore was partially a mask, and he felt bad about it-but later on he'd be able to smile for real and make up for it. He hoped. Later on this would all blow over, because they were brothers and they would work it out. For a few moments he distantly watched Nick, brows furrowed in disappointment as he brushed some of his black bangs away from his face and he was quiet. Until music drew him in and he gently handed Psy the guitar case. Nick didn't want them to hear, but his plan failed. Miserably, Joe heard and the song caused him to bite the inside of his cheek. Maybe there was still a connection between them, and for a few moments his own voice sang along to Nick's guitar as he fell quiet. Pretty sure he'd ruined his own mask of cheerfulness anyway. He tried to connect with his brother one more time. Actions didn't help him, but maybe words would. " Pushing me away Every last word, every single thing you say Pushing me away Try to stop me now, but it's already too late Pushing me away If you really don't care, then say it to my face Pushing me away You push, push, you're pushing me away "
The song ended as he could practically feel the hum of energy that followed her powers and caused him to snap from his daze. For a moment his dis hearting argument with his brother was forgotten. It was a little known fact that Joe had the attention span of a gold fish, and so he was instantly distracted and not a very good multi tasker.
"Can you teach me how to do that?!" Suddenly cheerful and loud all over again. "Oh that would be so cool. Kevin's never gonna believe this."
