For a split second, Nick almost missed the look his brother gave him but unfortunately for him he caught it and suddenly wished he didn't. He returned his own look of disgust in the vague direction of his brother as he pulled his guitar back over his lap. There obviously wasn't anything wrong with him because he could be perfectly cheery around Elisabeth but when it came to Nick he was like a ticking time bomb. The boy ignored the pair of them and begun to pluck at the strings of his guitar until he was satisfied that it sounded right.
He forced down the urge to roll his eyes as Joe told his little story about his journey over here but he really couldn't help but wish that he had been there with him while he nearly crashed himself off a bridge or something ridiculous. It was just the sort of thing they would get up to. Sighing, he ran his hand through his knotted curls before turning back to his guitar, slowly strumming out the acoustics to a song that was in reality a lot faster. His voice was quiet so as not to disturb the others because he really didn't want them to hear him, "Run, run like you do, I'm chasing you I'm on your tail, I'm gaining faster, you're going nowhere Try to fix what you've done, turn back the time The night is gone and then we're falling faster now"
