So frustrated, suffocated, how did we get this far?
WHO: Gabriel!Sylar, f!Peter Petrelli, Gabriel Gray, and Claire Bennet. WHAT: WHEN: After Sylar reveals his new self to Claire. WHERE: Hyperion Hotel. RATING: PG-13 for now. STATUS: COMPLETE.
The ride back to the hotel was relatively silent, as Claire was fretting over just how to break all of this to her uncle (or anyone else for that matter). She kept her head against the window, ignoring how dirty it likely was, eyes training on nothing in particular. She was positive by now that something was up. He had yet to attack her or do anything harmful, anything Sylar-like. In fact, he was so far from acting like Sylar...she was starting to believe him. And that terrified her.
As the cabbie pulled up and idled by the hotel, Claire sighed a soft groan, not at all wanting to go inside. She handed the driver the proper fee and looked over at Sylar, distressed and nervous. "Let me do the talking at first, 'kay? Peter's reaction isn't going to be as nice as mine was; it'll be worse. And no, I can't explain why...not yet." She hesitated, breaking her gaze away from him before adding, "Sorry."
Claire moved out of the yellow vehicle and trudged her way toward the hotel, eying it as if it might grow a mouth and devour her. She called out to Peter, giving him a semi-warning before entering. [Hey Peter? You uh...might want to meet me in the lobby. Please?] She moved in after Sylar held the door for her, another odd action from him...but the moment he set foot into the Hyperion, security forces kicked in, locking the doors behind them and setting off an alarm. She closed her eyes, lips pulled into a thin line. Great. Just what she was hoping to avoid; the hotel had not seen him as Gabriel.
