That rocked her. Claire staggered back, blinking rapidly and trying hard not to hyperventilate. Gabriel was at the hotel. Gabriel still had all his memories. And yet Sylar...something had to have happened. Something huge for him to not even know his monstrous self.
She took three deep breaths to calm herself, clutching at her chest as she just stared at him. "Y-yeah, you're Gabriel...and I'm...Claire. You-" she cut herself short, trying to think of just what the hell she'd tell him. Frowning, she let her hand drop back to her side and explained, "You like to fix watches, but I don't know too much about...you." Except that you're a greedy bastard who's killed who knows how many and you've tried to kill me. "This can't be happening," she whispered. But she was so close and he still hadn't made a move yet. Sylar didn't wait this long. How could this have happened? What was she supposed to do with him now? "Listen, do you know where you're staying? Do you remember any friends here?" Right. Sylar and friends didn't fit in the same sentence.
