WHO: Amelia Solo and OPEN
WHAT: Angel Investigations gets a new member.
WHEN: Early evening
WHERE: Lobby of the Hyperion Hotel
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress
Although Amelia knew she was still welcomed to stay with Anakin and Padmé, now that their baby had been born she felt as though she shouldn't be there. The family deserved a chance to actually be a family - something they'd been denied in the past - and she didn't want to intrude. So she had begun weighing her options and had ultimately decided that she would likely be best suited doing something to assist the people in this city. She was a Jedi, after all, so helping people came naturally to her.
Figuring out how to get involved in the main group who helped people, however, had been a bit tricky. Tenel Ka had offered to assist her, but following the fiasco with Jacen and the way the woman had jumped to his defense, Amelia was hesitant to ask her for help. Not sure how else to get involved with this Angel Investigations, she had ultimately asked Anakin for advice.
Only to be informed that he happened to know the man who was in charge of the very organization she was interested in joining.
In no time, it seemed, Peter Petrelli (she'd been told that was his name) had agreed to let her come on board. So now here she was, staring up at the Hyperion Hotel with everything she owned in a small bag slung over her shoulder and her lightsaber hanging from the belt around her waist. She was nervous, but also excited. These people helped others. They did the right thing, sometimes without even being thanked for it she was sure. And now she was about to join them. She was going to make a difference.
With a hint of a smile on her face, and a feeling of finally doing something worthwhile in her heart, the young woman made her way up the walkway. She assumed someone would be in the lobby, guarding the entrance, or at the very least manning the front desk area. Hopefully Peter had told whoever it was that she was coming. She'd hate to think what would happen if they thought she was some sort of threat.
Oh well, she thought to herself, there's only one way to find out. And with that, she pushed open the door and stepped inside.
