He was late and he knew it. Sure they hadn't set up a time, but he spoke to Max ..hours ago, and was sure she'd probably been expecting him. But the day Terry McGinnis was on time was the day hell froze over and the Joker was a nice clean community friendly good Samaritan. For the longest time Terry was on patrol, and now he had one more errand. It wasn't even his city yet and he'd taken it on his shoulders to protect it once the sun went down. At least he wasn't alone, and hey. Bonus point, he didn't have to deal with Bruce barking orders at him. Still he couldn't help but wonder how the old guy was doing. How his partner was holding up.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the park he'd mentioned in the message, and jumped down from the plane, leaving it to hover above the trees while he landed silently on a tree branch. He turned on the invisible mode on his suit and waited. Not really wanting to be followed or draw unwanted attention to himself. He'd done enough of that leaving the bat-plane in plain sight, what had he been thinking? So he let his eyes scan the park waiting for Superman. The man of steel, how cool was that?
