He was too fast. Lex couldn't even get near the box before Jor-El had sped across the room and grabbed hold of him. Face twisting into a pained sort of expression, Lex tried to pull away from Jor-El, which only resulted in him adding even more pain to the arm in which the alien currently had his grip on. Son of a bitch.
"I haven't done anything to you," Lex said, eyes narrowing. He twisted against Jor-El's grip again and grimaced. It was useless. There was no way that he was going to be able to break away from that unbelievably powerful hold he was under. Not unless he managed to get at the kryptonite. And that? It looked next to impossible at this point. Lex anxiously peered off at the doorway, his eyes searching for the security team that would surely arrive at any moment. What was he paying them for, exactly? They should have been on the scene the second he had pressed that damned button.
