WHO: Sylar, Narcissa Malfoy
WHAT: An impatient Sylar finally asks for help with his "Claire problem"
WHERE: Narcissa and Edric's room at the Victor
WHEN: Morning, shortly before this.
As he walked down the hall towards Narcissa's room, Sylar reached into his pocket and nervously fiddled with the piece of paper...as he had been doing a lot in the last couple weeks. He had no no need to pull it out. The image it contained - a drawing of he and Claire Bennet locked in a passionate embrace, that he himself had drawn while under the spell of one of his precognitive states - was burned into his mind. He knew every detail of the drawing by heart, yet still had no idea what it meant. And he was tired of waiting to find out.
That was why he had decided enough was enough, and resolved to go to Narcissa and finally do something about it. It had been a while since he had last been here, but on that occasion both Narcissa and Edric had seemed open to a potential alliance between the three. Afterwards, it felt as they had come to an unspoken agreement to wait and see what Wolfram & Hart's plans regarding Angel Investigations and the Hyperion Hotel were. But Sylar had not heard from Charlie in some time, and he wondered if the tenuous teaming of villains that W&H had instigated had already shattered. In the end, he decided it didn't matter. He had struck a deal with W&H, and would uphold his end of it if and when they came to him. But he could no longer wait for their go-ahead. His desire to see Bennet dead - and disprove the picture - grew stronger every day. He had to get his hands on here, once and for all.
Of course, given that she was staying in the Hyperion, this was not as easy as he would hope. Sylar was confident in his abilities, but was not suicidal enough to launch a lone attack on a building full of possibly-powered do-gooders. That was why he had first sought partners, after all, and now it was time to see if this Narcissa would truly be as helpful ad he had first imagined.
Unlike his last visit, he was not sure Narcissa would be expecting him today, and so when he arrived at the door to the room, he knocked gently, not wanting to startle or upset her. It was best to have her in a good mood, if he was to convince her to help him.
