Nothing like this had ever happened to him before. One minute he was standing in front of the Daily Planet. And the next? He was walking down the middle of a street that he knew absolutely nothing about. It was almost as though Metropolis had vanished from the earth entirely and had been replaced with another city. He didn't know how it could have happened or why it even had in the first place, but he fully intended on finding out. Especially since the city that he attempted to return to had suddenly dissapeared entirely. The Daily Planet, Lois Lane, and every square inch of the city that he belonged to was gone. The same went for his hometown, Smallville, and Martha Kent. Nothing was where it should have been and that disturbed him on a number of different levels.
After returning to L.A., he began to seek out information. It didn't take him a very long time before he found himself being pointed toward a group of people who were involved with everything that was happening. Angel Investigations. The Hyperion. If he could find out how to stop all of this; to help bring back what had suddenly vanished, he would. There was no doubt within him about that. So he obtained directions to the hotel, shoved his Clark Kent attire into hiding, and flew over to the hotel in which he had been directed.
Landing carefully along the front path, Superman straightened up and walked toward the front entrance of the hotel. He stepped inside, cape billowing in the air behind him as he moved, and took a look around the area. Cordelia. He had spoken to her before, as Clark Kent, and he fully intended on doing so again.
