Alice moved about the city alternately slowly and with the speed of her kind that was untraceable to most, but when she approached where the woman in the white coat loaned against the streetlight, she was simply walking. She hadn't seen many humans out in the night without a place to be, thus always in motion, and many of them listened to the silent instincts that warned them away from the pixie-like brunette, something deeper within humans that told them the sight they looked upon was deceptive and dangerous. Even if Alice wasn't a danger to them because of her lifestyle choice, that instinct was still there. The vampires of this world, and the other creatures such as demons, didn't possess that same instinct in most cases, but then Alice didn't need them to avoid her.
Pausing on the sidewalk, Alice studied the woman for a moment, very brief to the human eye but enough for her to note every single detail – visually and with other senses. This place was where she needed to be, sometime within the next few hours, but this was not the woman who would be attacked by the small band of young vampires. Alice had seen her, however, in the visions and that was why she approached the woman, a smile on her face.
"Lovely night," she remarked, face upturned for a moment. It was hard to see the sky here, as it was in most places in Los Angeles, but the heat of the July day had given way to a cooler night that Alice found refreshing, even if it wasn't in the traditional way.
