WHO: Alice Cullen, Integral Hellsing WHERE: streets of L.A.; TBD WHEN: Tuesday, July 5; after dark WHAT: Roaming the city. RATING: TBD STATUS: thread; in-progress
There were days, though they were few in number, that Alice didn't exactly love being in this Los Angeles. Today was one of them. Bella was gone and she hadn't seen it until it was too late. She had never liked the unexpected, and in this place, it happened more than she was used to by far. The whim of those in control of bringing in and removing individuals from the city was sometimes out of grasp for her. She had known Jasper would arrive hours before he did, but the addition of Bella to those individuals beyond her field of mental vision, that inexplicable there-but-not feeling, had been abrupt and startling.
Her body had ceased to be human over a hundred years ago, but her emotions had not, even if at times she lacked the depth of experience the others had with 'being human'. She missed her best friend, her soon-to-be (or in Edward's timeline, already-was) sister – it was as simple as that, and yet was also touched by the normal complications of other emotions, such a guilt and frustration.
Leaving a note for Edward and Jasper, Alice slipped out of the apartment when the sun set, following random visions where they led her, for it was a distraction, to see and even stop the harm to others before it could happen, even when she could not see other things so accurately.
