WHO: Cordelia and Logan WHAT: A night away from the Hyperion WHEN: Evening RATING: TBD STATUS: In Progress
The flowers had well and truly made her day. The fact that they weren't roses (those were so commonplace anymore, in her opinion) and that the bouquet had included jasmine had only made them better. In fact, ever since receiving the delivery she hadn't been able to stop smiling. Not while she was picking out a dress, not while she was getting showered, not while she was applying makeup. Not once did the smile seem to really leave her face and, in fact, there was a lighter bounce in her step as well. It was obvious to anyone who spotted her that no matter what else they might have to say about the new head of security, he was certainly working wonders on the resident Seer.
At eight o'clock sharp Cordelia was descended the stairs of the newly remodeled Hyperion. She was most definitely dressed pretty as his note had requested, a fact made obvious by the looks she'd received on her way through the hotel. Stepping into the lobby the smile on her face took on a more sultry look, yet her stomach was still filled to near bursting with butterflies. She had no clue where they were going. All she knew was that he'd given her flowers and told her to be there, so here she was. She'd even made certain to text Peter first, so with any luck and barring any major Apocalypse, she and Logan would spend the evening together and undisturbed.
