When she mentioned Rogue, Peter nodded. [Something like her, yeah.] He chuckled, his laughter echoing pleasantly across the mental link, when she added the bit about snogging. [I'm getting a bit better at suppressing it, but my girl would be a bit... I'll say displeased if she finds out I tested the snog-limits on someone who wasn't her.]
He listened to her dissection of the theories, nodding along politely. [The ones I know don't joke around when it comes to demons. I'm inclined to hear them out on that. And I know the command for silence seems far-fetched, but I used to know someone who had that ability. If it was used carelessly, it could certainly cause something like this. But it couldn't be the only reason.] He'd really done a number with it since it had taken his own ability to speak as well. Unless that had been the work of these new creatures. It was hard to tell, with one atop the other.
[As far as the truth and consequences bit...] Peter shook his head. [I don't buy that one. People might reap what they sow, but that doesn't mean there's intervention. It's too big for someone not to have played a hand in it, and if there are any gods that care that much, why would they punish honesty?]
