Harry's thoughts were heavier than they had been in years. Many years. Foolishly, naively, he'd believed that this was all behind him, this battling with Voldemort, dealing with enemies. What could he do now? His children were in danger, his wife was in danger....and now Ron was trapped in a whole new predicament, one Harry was ill-prepared for. Who was this Luthor? What power did he hold over them?
He'd become used to talking over problems with Ginny, and today was no different. Despite the fact that she was younger, her insight had never wavered and it shouldn't be affected by that. Hopeful, he entered her hotel, taking a few minutes to orient himself before taking the stairs to her room. The elevator would have made sense, but he didn't want others to see him if he could help it. He needed Ginny to be alone.
Despite the bleakness of his thoughts, he was anticipating having Ginny in his arms again. Perhaps it couldn't be more than that, with their new difference in ages, but just holding her would be wonderful...
